The words of this song is in Japanese. For story structure of this track, five members of Open Reel Ensemble set off from different locations in Otemachi.
They reported and recorded soundscapes of Otemachi as they distorted the sound and manipulated time with their open-reel tape recorder and made their way to their rendezvous point, the Otemachi Building.

Formed in 2009 with leader Ei Wada and Kimitoshi Sato, Takumi Namba, Haruka Yoshida and Masaru Yoshida as a project to connect old-fashioned open reel magnetic recorders with the latest computer to play it as an “instrument.”

On stage, they operate the reel’s rotation and movement with their hands and computers, record the sounds on tape, and play music as an ensemble.

Their mysterious sound and composition techniques are highly acclaimed, and they have played live shows in and outside Japan, produced music for TV commercials, remixed songs, and are widely noticed both in the fields of media art and music.
